Pull the audio out of any video, without uploading it
Most video-to-MP3 sites take your file, transcode it on their servers, and hand you back a link. Fine — but the moment your video contains anything personal (a private recording, a paid course lesson, an unreleased interview), you probably don't want it living on someone else's disk.
This tool runs ffmpeg.wasm — the WebAssembly port of the ffmpeg you already know — entirely in your browser. Drop a video, pick a bitrate, click Extract. The audio comes out as an MP3 you can preview in-page and download.
What it handles
Any container ffmpeg supports: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, FLV, TS, 3GP. Any audio codec inside those containers. Output is always MP3 (LAME encoder) at your chosen bitrate (128 to 320 kbps).
Limits and requirements
- Max 100 MB per file — mostly a memory-pressure limit for the browser.
- ffmpeg.wasm needs SharedArrayBuffer, which requires the page to be served with cross-origin isolation headers (COOP / COEP). Toolenza sets these; if you have disabled JavaScript features or you're behind an old browser, the tool will show a warning banner.
- First run downloads the ffmpeg core (~30 MB); subsequent runs are cached.

No. ffmpeg.wasm runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly. Your video and the extracted audio never leave your device.
Up to 100 MB. This is a browser-memory limit, not a server limit. Larger files can crash the tab because the entire video has to be loaded into memory alongside ffmpeg.
128, 192, 256, and 320 kbps. 192 kbps is the default — it is transparent for most listening scenarios. 320 kbps is the maximum MP3 bitrate.
ffmpeg.wasm uses SharedArrayBuffer for multi-threaded encoding, which browsers only expose on cross-origin-isolated pages (COOP + COEP HTTP headers). If Toolenza is behind a proxy stripping those headers, or you are on a browser that has disabled it, the tool will show a warning and may fall back to a slower single-thread path — or fail outright. Reload the page from a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari 15+).
