About CSV Viewer

A CSV viewer that doesn't choke

Most spreadsheet apps grind to a halt past 50–100k rows. Toolenza's CSV viewer renders only the rows currently on screen, so a 500,000-row file feels as snappy as a 100-row file.

What you can do

  • Search across every column at once
  • Sort any column ascending or descending — click the header
  • Filter by exact value, contains, empty, or numeric range
  • Jump to any row by number
  • Export the filtered view back to CSV

How it compares

Unlike upload-based tools, your file is parsed and held entirely in your browser using PapaParse. No server sees a single byte. There are no row limits beyond your browser's memory — most laptops handle 500k+ rows easily.

Frequently asked questions

No. The file is read directly by your browser using JavaScript. It never leaves your computer.

Most modern browsers handle 100–500 MB CSVs comfortably. Beyond that you may want to split the file first using our Split CSV tool.

Use the Excel Viewer tool for .xlsx / .xls files. This one is CSV / TSV only.

PapaParse auto-detects numeric columns so sort and filter work numerically. If you need everything as text, that toggle is on the toolbar.
