% of value: result = (a ÷ 100) × b
A is what % of B: result = (a ÷ b) × 100
% change A → B: result = ((b − a) ÷ a) × 100

Use % of value with the discount percent and the original price to get the savings, then subtract from the price. The dedicated Discount calculator does this automatically.
Percent change uses the original value as the base ((new − old) ÷ old). Percent difference uses the average of both ((|a − b|) ÷ ((a+b)÷2)). This calculator computes percent change.
Percent change can be any value (including negative or above 100%). Instead of a bar, this mode shows an Increase or Decrease chip with a directional arrow.
