About this tool
A free, big-screen countdown to any future date. Pick the date and time, type a caption like "Graduation Day" or "Wedding", and watch the months, days, hours, minutes and seconds tick down with smooth slot-machine digits. Add an image as a backdrop or below the counter, and switch to fullscreen mode for projection. Every leading-zero segment is hidden, so the display only shows what's relevant — when there are 2 days left, you see days/hours/minutes/seconds, not years and months. Confetti fires when the counter hits zero.

How to use
- 1 Pick the date and time you want to count down to.
- 2 Type a caption for the event (e.g. Graduation Day, Vacation, Wedding).
- 3 Optionally paste an image URL or upload one (under 2 MB) — choose to show it below the counter or behind it as a backdrop.
- 4 Tap Fullscreen to project the countdown without distractions.
- 5 Tap Share to copy a link — anyone who opens it sees the same countdown.

Frequently asked questions
It runs on JavaScript in your open tab. If you switch tabs the page may sleep, but it resumes when you return. For projecting, leave the tab in the foreground.
Leading zero segments (years, months) are hidden so the screen focuses on what matters. As soon as the value is non-zero, that segment appears.
Yes — every change updates the URL with the date, caption, image URL and mode. Tap Share to copy the link. Uploaded image files (data URLs) are kept on your device only and not shared.
Up to 2 MB. For larger images, host them online and paste the URL — that also makes the image part of the shareable link.
Yes. Tap Fullscreen and the browser asks for fullscreen permission. Tap Exit (top right) or press Esc to leave.
The display flips to a 🎉 message and confetti bursts across the screen. The caption stays visible.
