Not every computer has an Arabic keyboard layout installed, and switching OS layouts is friction — you have to install language packs, memorise a new physical layout (the Arabic and QWERTY letter positions have nothing in common), and remember to switch back before typing English again.

What this keyboard does

A fully-visual click-to-type Arabic keyboard: click the letters on-screen (or use the mapped shortcut keys if you already know the Arabic 101 layout), watch them appear in a right-to-left textarea, and copy the result to any app — WhatsApp, Word, an email, a form.

What's on it

• Full 4-row Arabic layout (ض ص ث ق ف ... at the top, ending with the last row of common letters and the space bar).
• Shift layer for diacritics (ـَ ـُ ـِ ـْ ـً ـٌ ـٍ ـّ) and Arabic punctuation (؟ ، ؛).
• RTL textarea with dir="rtl" so text flows correctly and the cursor sits at the right edge as expected.
• Copy to clipboard so you can paste into any other app.

When to use this instead of the OS layout

• One-off Arabic messages (a name, an address, a WhatsApp reply).
• Working on a computer that isn't yours (a hotel, a library, a coworker's machine).
• Learners who don't yet want to memorise the Arabic 101 keyboard.
• Non-Arab designers or developers who need Arabic strings for a UI mockup.
